"The location id idyllic and the lodge was spacious and spotlessly clean. The host, Jennifer, was a delight and very helpful, she was also full of knowledge information regarding the fauna, animal's and bird life on the farm"

We really enjoyed the added benefits of the hot tub which was so nice to be able to relax watching the stars . "Our favourite lodge from the ones we have stayed in at Raywell Hall. Lovely furnishings and a roof over the hot tub meaning that you can still use it when itâ€™s raining, but it doesnâ€™t interfere with star gazing when the sky is clear."

"The property was clean, however it was very dated, old shower, rusted shower, door handles throughout made lots of noise as did floor, so if anyone had to get up during the night all of the others sleep would be disruptive, hot tub had no heat options, and a lodge with hot tub that wants to charge extra £10 for bath robe, ...... really disappointing start to stay, pity no washing machine so all dirty clothes had to be kept in cases, had to use a knife to open freezer door as the handle on...

"Great location with just the 4 lodges next to a small manmade lake. Trees all around and blackberries to pick. Just 15 mins away from York so ideal base. Shower is amazing!"
