"Great place to stop over on your way in or out of the Serengeti. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. I had made a mistake with my booking but they still honoured it. "
"The location and setting is magnificent, but what made Pioneer so special is the wonderful service by all the staff working under the perfect oversight of Manager Simon. Our tent butler, Juma, was a special delight. The nightly dining under the stars was so special and the meals were excellent. We recommend it to anyone wanting a tented experience with great comfort and pampering."

Contacted the property multiple times over months with the same request and they rarely if ever responded. Decided to cut ties and stay at a much nicer hotel in Arusha instead of further dealing with...
"The location of the hotel listed on Hotels.com is incorrect. Since there are no signs indicating the hotel’s direction from the road, it would have been impossible to find it on our own. Thankfully, the rangers escorted us, and we were able to locate it.
The Wi-Fi is not working.
That said, the staff is excellent—always kind and helpful. The food is delicious, and the lunch box service is especially valuable when heading out on a game drive."
