"Great location although parking restricted to road"

"Recommend this location highly! Property is really well maintained - super clean, neutral decoration maintained to a high standard, fresh soft furnishings including plush towels, breakfast choice is excellent and the owner is a welcoming host."

"The staff were welcoming and friendly. The evening meal was excellent, in a spacious and well designed area. The location was a good one for the Cotswolds"

"The staff were very helpful and it felt homely and very comfortable. The food was enjoyable too. For an old building it was kept in good condition, nicely decorated and showed the history through artwork and photos."

"Lovely hotel to stay in for 1 night. The receptionist was super helpful and very kind. The room was very decent for the price and had everything needed. The bed was very comfortable The only downside there was no hot water at midnight when I went back to my room. The facilities has a huge parking which was a bonus for me."

"Well presented hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. My only negative was how far away from reception my room was as when I got back to room to find no milk to have a hot drink before bed and didn’t fancy the long walk back to reception"

"Great location, lots of parking and well priced."

"Staff was extremely helpful, loads of parking."

The Sri Lankan food was superb, tasty and full of flavour, next time I'll as for it to be hotter. The room was clean, comfortable despite being in an old building. Bathroom spotless, lovely fluffy towels, perhaps a little smell of damp in them. We will certainly return."

"Great menu - dinner and breakfast excellent- room very clean and well equipped- would definitely recommend"

"The hotel was clean and well maintained but the furnishings were a bit shabby. The breakfast was well cooked but choices were limited."

"Beautiful place, amazing history and the staff are friendly and welcoming"

"We booked a £324 overnight stay, including dinner and breakfast, as an early birthday treat. The hotel looked attractive and the room appeared clean, but the experience was deeply disappointing. We booked a Deluxe Room, having deliberately ruled out the separately advertised Deluxe Accessible Room. On arrival, we were allocated what appeared to be that room, in the separate Coach House. It was stark and lacked the character we expected. Worse was the handling of our concerns. The duty manager...
