"When we arrived to the island, we took a taxi to the GPS location according to Hotels.com map. The pin was innaccurate, and 6 of us were stranded on another part of the island, 45 minutes away. Only due to a nice local Thai man, did we get a new taxi and find the villa. The villa in the photo shows a beach - we had no beach. "I felt I had been misled when we arrived at the hotel as the pictures on the listing show a well manicured hotel with a quality finish. The pictures were taken quite some time ago and the hotel is now in need of some love. The rooms are nice and they leave little animals made out of towels on your bed which is lovely, but the pool area and restaurant are a bit shabby and the buildings need a coat of paint. "A quiet location right on the beach. The bungalow was spacious and just what we needed for our family of four. The kitchen had a microwave and stove so could boil water/cook. We hired a car so we could get around the Island and loved returning to our peaceful location. "
