"we had a loft room with the Jacuzzi tub. Both were wonderful after the long drive and to have the separation if needed so people could sleep convenient to many restaurants bus stop nearby to go to Fairmont and the gondola. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Otter Hotel in Banff! Everything was just perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful — we truly felt welcomed and cared for. The rooms were cozy, clean, and well-equipped. The view of the mountains from the balcony was absolutely stunning — like something out of a postcard. The location is great too: it’s about a 15–20 minute walk to downtown Banff, and there are many great restaurants nearby. The hotel itself has everything you need: convenient parking, a beautiful rooftop with a jacuzzi, and a fantastic restaurant with delicious breakfasts and dinners. We really enjoyed our stay here — everything was top-notch. We would definitely love to come back! "

"Spent 3 nights for a family vacation in late May. Clean and spacious. Great location tucked away from all the noise and crowds. Being able to cook our own food was a plus, also. The only negative was the old swimming pool, which was small and cold. Otherwise, highly recommended!"

"Relaxing in the log cabin-like central room reminded me of upscale lodges in U.S. national parks. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and concerned with every detail of my stay. I wished I had stayed longer to sample everything on the menu. No matter what you order at The Prow Restaurant, be sure to finish it with the warm apple pie (BC apples, cardamom gelato, toasted almonds). BEST sweet treat ever invented. I asked Karen for the recipe, but it's a secret. I'll be back."
