"The Omni Hotel was very, very nice, located right close (5 minute walk) from Mont Royal, in a very nice part of the City of Montreal. Dining was everywhere within several blocks and the accomodations were excellent! "

"I liked that this property is close to the metro, and convenient enough to get from point A to point B. It’s close to great restaurant options and it’s mostly walkable. The beds and rooms are comfortable. "

"It is a 3/5 2-Star Hotel. The lobby is inviting, the front desk staff on all three interactions I had were less than focused, but you honestly get what you pay for. The vending machines are significantly over-priced. When you arrive, there is a IGA about 2 blocks away and a dollarama 3 blocks away. Check in, drop your stuff, and go stock up. Your mini fridge and freeze is good - there is a microwave in the laundry room (?) rather than in each room. The rooms themselves are a combination of 90s furniture and peeling wallpaper/grime, but I will say the shower seemed newer and was in fantastic working order. The biggest complaint I have is the SMELL in the rooms that is noticeable the minute you open the door. Suggest picking up odor remover if you're smell sensitive at the Dollarama or IGA. If you're staying longer as well your clothes will also smell. The rooms are large but poorly lit - and when you use the lamps you immediately notice the stains. It is a 2-Star Hotel that could use a little more care on the maintenance end of things - but you get what you pay for. If you're looking to just have a place to sleep and nothing else - you've found it. If you are sensitive to smells or will be coming back to the room intoxicated - I'd suggest the smaller rooms (but better overall conditioned) Hotel Zero about 2 blocks away. It is a great budget option for students - but I will not be returning on future trips."
