"Bed and bath linens nice. Mattress a bit too firm but still nice. Bed pillows typical feather mushy. Occasional noise from the canal side of hotel. Bar has great ambience and breakfast is good. Location is amazing….close to San Marco and Rialto."

"Loved my stay at the Palazzo San Luca! The hotel is a short easy walk from the Rialto stop, within walking distance of almost everything, and the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. There was only one slight downside... I was in the Brown room and in the landing outside the door it was often very loud with chatter and doors slamming shut. This is the reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars. There is not much soundproofing so I heard everything from the nearby rooms, especially in the mornings when I would have preferred to sleep in. However, most of the noise didn't start until around 9am, which is a reasonable hour to make noise (just not ideal for us late sleepers), and it was very quiet at night. Overall I enjoyed my stay and I highly recommend this hotel."

"The hotel is in a really convenient location (a very short walk from the Water bus stop). The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel has a bit of luxury about it. The staff were welcoming from the first minute and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast waiters even remembered we were the ones for no coffee!! We had a slight issue with the room. A squealing noise was coming from an area by the heater. We raised it with reception (at gone 10pm) and they came straight up to investigate. It wasn't something that they could fix without maintenance so immediately went to see if they could find another room. Found us another room for the rest of the stay which was a slightly upgraded room too. Their recommendations for restaurants were very good as well. "

"The hotel staff were great! Location was perfect right in front of water taxi and water bus! Walking distance to St. Mark and Doge Castle. I just wished we had the full view of the canal vs. just half from our balcony. "
