Breakfast was nice and there were plenty of restaurants and local shops everywhere. We took the local water taxi the day of our arrival and the hotel arranged a private water taxi for us which was a short distance to the back of the property. Highly recommend the Hotel Montecarlo."

"Convenient to St. Marks Square. We enjoyed having a drink on at the bar and watching the gondola's park for the evening. We also enjoyed watching them prep to depart in the AM. The hotel let us leave our bags after check-out so we could tour the Doges Palace. Breakfast was good."

"We only had a 1-night stay, 4-member family in 1 room. The team was really great and friendly. To know: House has x floors, we had our room on the 3rd floor, reception is at the 1st floor. You can't park in Venezia, you have to leave your car outside, and the boat is pretty expensive (9.50/person), so if you don't have to bring all your luggages, you would prefer to walk, which is the same amount of time actually :) "
