"We loved this place only little things like light fitting on wall coming off and bonking on my head as it was over the bed I was on. And a mess up with breakfast ordered 4 kids full English breakfasts and 2 adult ones, to receive 6 kids breakfasts with loads of mess ups. 😑. My kids loved it beautiful area"

"Fantastic location, lovey rooms and access to the car park straight from my ground floor room. This hotel is perfect for me, in a quiet location with beautiful scenery and fantastic food. I have stayed in many hotels in this area and this one is easily in my top 3. Food prices is a little on the high side but I try to ignore that to enjoy the high standards this hotel adheres to. "This review is split into two parts, one for the room and one for the restaurant. The restaurant was the good part of the experience, with friendly staff who were happy to accommodate a late request for a table & the food was excellent and well priced. My room (room 12) was not great. There is no lock from the inside, just an external handle which doesn't turn to prevent entry without a key. The layout is odd, with a little corridor to the bathroom which whilst clean is still very worn and dated. There is also a nest full of baby birds directly outside of the single-glazed window, which would be fine for a bird-lover or somebody hard of hearing, but not great otherwise. "
