The basement bedroom is musty, damp and smelly, not really usable. The bath water was brown."

"Scary. Huge black spiders in the bathtub. Very uncommunicative check-in, no info on property, trash, or any services. If you are over 55 and don't know much about streaming services, forget TV. Handle broke off of door fridge and wardrobe. Tiny bathroom counter even though the space is huge. Not a very efficient layout. This might work for some, but not for us."

We enjoyed the dock/water access as well - our kids were able to spend some time fishing and even waded in the water. The drive is a little far to Acadia (a little over an hour) but we were still able to use the rental home as a base for visiting the National Park."

The house is the perfect amount of space, very functional, and has everything we could need. "This property is wonderful! I wish we had spent more time here. The cottage sits ocean front with a large deck a few feet from the water. You stay here for the views and to experience the Maine fishing village. The room is small, clean with a comfy bed and mis-matched furniture but all the comforts you need (fridge, coffee maker, TV) The bath is very basic. The staff was very pleasant We loved the restaurant on property - food was delicious"
