"The hotel had very nice rooms. However the rooms are very uncomfortable due to the lack of AC. They don't have fans available either. The self check-in was impersonal and difficult to navigate. If you are checking in after 15:00 no one is there. That is not a positive for a traveler. Breakfast was delicious."

"If the hustle & bustle of busy Cologne gets to be too much, the lovely town of Königswinter on the banks of the Rhine may prove a relaxing alternative. Das Hotel Krone is in the centre of town about a 5 minute walk from the train station. I’ve stayed here before and been very happy. But, it’s under new management/ownership now and the quality of the experience has increased a lot. The place is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are wonderful."
