The apartment itself was spotless, light and airy with a lovely balcony and very close to the city centre and the beach, whilst being located in a very peaceful neighbourhood. "We had a fantastic stay at Henri’s place. He meticulously went through everything and offered assistance, if we should require it, during our stay. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and very clean. The place is easy walking distance from the harbour. There is also a supermarket just up the the street. When we were leaving, Henri kindly drove me to the station as I had recently had 2 knee replacements. I would definitely stay here again if I was coming back to La Rochelle (I hope u do because...

"Appartement très propre et moderne. 20 minutes à pied du centre de La Rochelle, dans un quartier très calme (même avec le camping pour les camping-cars juste à côté). Le balcon est un grand plus et bien situé. Nous aurions aimé un petit four et un grille-pain mais sinon il y avait assez d'utensiles. Et MERCI à Hervé pour nous avoir rencontrer à "nos heures" pour le check-in et check-out. Et parking privé vraiment apprécié. Nous serions restés plus longtemps si nous l'avions pu."

"The property is beautiful, very clean and well equipped. France, the property manager was very helpful and communication with her was excellent. The property is ideally situated and convenient for bars and restaurants. However, we had to queue for 30 minutes to be able to park. The nearest car park was full and only had a maximum of two hours anyway. As guests who are in their 70s, we found it extremely difficult to carry our luggage 400 metres from available parking and had to make two...

"Very comfortable, with easy and secure parking. A very convenient base for touring and visiting Ile de Ré. Shortish walk to a good selection of restaurants and shops in La Rochelle but there is a decent little cafe around the corner if you don't want to venture too far."

"Lovely La Rochelle and the property is lovely and spacious. Though on warm evenings and during the night could be very noisy with the windows open. We loved our stay here. It was so good to walk out the door into a great port and harbour with a huge choice of places to eat and visit."

"Nous avons sejourné dans cette maison pendant 3 jours, nous étions 3 familles. Séjour compliqué... La maison était très sale à notre arrivée, intérieurement comme extérieurement. Une maison laissée à l abandon, avec de l électroménager HS, peu de vaisselle, des toilettes HS, des chambres sans lumière, des robinetteries usées à ne plus pouvoir les fermer, une odeur de moisissure... Même si la maison est bien placée par rapport au centre ville, nous ne recommandons pas ce logement."

"We stayed for one night at this property. Great location with free parking close by. A good base for exploring La Rochelle. Would stay again but mattress not very comfortable and first hotel I have ever stayed in where they ask you to take your rubbish out yourself. It served a purpose and the bottles of water and sweets were a nice touch. "
