"This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking. "I stay for one night with my mother for a visit to Dumfries House. There was no record of our booking when we arrived but it wasn’t a problem and we were given a room in the annex. All was great although next time we would prefer to stay in the main hotel. We ate there on Saturday evening and the food was delious. The hotel recen changed hands and the new owners are renovating it to a high standard. We would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Great little find. Had a very reasonably priced single room that suited me. Shared Bathroom was neat and clean but was up a flight of stairs.. Didn't find that an issue. Not far from the stunning Ayr beach.. see photos below taken the evening I arrived. Towels and bedding are definitely provided.. some-one had put that they weren't provided on the website I booked with (which did seem weird!). The cooked breakfast was also excellent. "
