"Stayed overnight as we had a party in Salisbury which was 11 miles away, early 2pm check in was great to freshen up and the hotel was set in a peaceful quiet area, no noise at all, comfy bed, tea & coffee making facilities, nice breakfast area with fruit juices, yogurts, cereals, toast & jams, waffles and full English with lovely quality sausages and bacon, would normally stay at a chain hotel/motel when in this area but this will now be my in place to stay"

"It was a great place with plenty options and comfortable sleeping arrangements. The breakfast (if you're from overseas) gives you the option of having a classic English breakfast, loved it!!!"

"When we arrived, we were told that they did not hold a booking for us, as Expedia had cancelled our booking!!. It took over 4 hours for the hotel, myself and a guy from Expedia in the USA to semi resolve the issue. The hotel were wonderful, Expedia were blatant liars as they told the hotel that they had informed us of the cancellation, and had booked us into another hotel. Shame on you Expedia!! As the hotel had restricted accommodation left for our visit, we had to rearrange via Expedia to stay in another hotel for part of our stay. Unlikely to be using Expedia again which is very unfortunate as we have used them on numerous occasions over the years."

"This hotel was stunning! We loved the buildings, and the grounds that we were able to stroll around. We had a dog with us, and he was provided with a bed for his stay, and also a toy to take home with him. The staff that we met were lovely, and the service was great. We had breakfast each morning (served in the bar because the dog wasn't allowed in the restaurant), and it was delicious each time. Everyone needs to go and stay here! Our room was very comfortable. The only slight negative was that there were some minor bits of maintenance needed in our room. Other than that, it was a perfect stay, and I would happily go back."
