  • One of the finest homes in Avalon with panoramic views from three sides of the magnificent wrap-around deck. Families and couples only. This is a quiet neighborhood. Three stories-gourmet kitchen, living and dining rooms, one bedroom and bath on top floor, and remaining bedrooms and baths on lower two levels. Restored early 20th century interior. Nearby is a public stairway with 123 steps leading down to the City Park. 176MT | | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted; 3 night minimum mid-June through Labor Day). QUIET HOURS: 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. (use of outdoor areas strictly prohibited). We had an excellent time staying at this VRBO on Catalina Island! The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect, and the host was responsive and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Catalina Island!

This was a great property for our trip! Close and walkable to pretty much everything you would need. The property was well appointed, we enjoyed the spacious patio in the mornings and having three bathrooms was incredibly convenient! The only thing that would have made this better was to have an included golf cart, but you can certainly get around without one. We would stay again.

Wonderful place to stay in Catalina with an unbeatable deck and view. Very comfortable for group of 9. We had a minor issue with the shower and they responded immediately and fixed the issue! One tip is no beach towels at the home so pack your own. Thanks for a great trip.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The deck was a highlight, such a great space to relax and spend time outside. The kitchen was also fully stocked, which made it easy to cook and feel at home.The bottom floor could definitely use some updating. It felt quite musty, and the carpet had a noticeable wet smell. The beds and pillows were also a bit worn and could use replacing.Overall, we had a great experience and appreciated the home, especially the upper level, where we ended up spending most of our time. The positives definitely made the stay enjoyable, despite the rooms that need improvement.

Our family had an amazing time. We really enjoyed hanging out on the deck. The home had a lot of charm. The neighborhood was great and quiet and the view was absolutely amazing.

This property was beautiful. It has everything needed to have a wonderful stay. I would suggest taking a taxi/cart to the location, as it is a long walk with luggage up stairs. Otherwise, the view is amazing!

Great location with a fantastic view

House was quirky and fun with lots of rooms for kiddos to explore! Great kitchen for cooking at home and a deck with a view you cannot beat! Highly recommended!

Catalina Marathon Weekend

Even though the weather wasn’t great, we were able to enjoy the large house and incredible view of the harbor and casino. I highly recommend this house for a large group. We come to Avalon every year and we definitely want to rent this house again.

Getting Away

This weekend laughing, playing and loving was exactly what was missing for us, our two sons and their families. We lived on the balcony with its magical view while having our coffee and meals. This home was comfortable, relaxing and met our needs perfectly. Everyone wants to come back :).

Spectacular View

We love staying at this house, we spent the majority of our time on the deck enjoying the view. This house is perfect for family and friends, especially if you just want to hang out on the deck and enjoy the view. It would be even better if you had a golf cart since town is a bit far and there are a ton of stairs.

The view makes the climb up the 158 stairs completely worth it. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by a stunning panoramic view of Avalon. The house is three stories tall and worked wonderfully for our family.The main level features a convenient bedroom and bathroom right off the kitchen, perfect for my dad. The lower second level has Jack-and-Jill bedrooms, each with its own deck overlooking the water, plus a full bathroom and an alcove room with bunk beds. The lowest level is home to the master bedroom and another full bathroom.Overall, our stay was excellent. The house is older, so the carpet could use a deep cleaning or updating, and some of the bedding and pillows could be refreshed. That said, the kitchen was very well-equipped, we cooked breakfast every morning and dinner a couple of times. The rest of our meals were enjoyed in town.Helpful tips: Bring your own beach towels and be prepared to do a lot of walking. Note that rented golf carts are not allowed on Middle Terrace Road. We used Ride Circuit for transportation a few times, it worked well one evening, but they close at 9:00 pm and can be very busy in the mornings.Highly recommend this home for its incredible views and great layout!

A very special property

We rented this home to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with our immediate family. While at the house, we spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the stunning view. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds and bathrooms were plentiful. A long staircase just down the street led directly into town, where we all found various activities to enjoy. A wonderful memory we'll all savor for a long time to come!
