"We had a great stay! We chose this cabin to help us escape from our busy life. The home is beautiful, designed with such care and unique finishes. The kitchen is well stocked with high quality cookware and appliances (there was even a large assortment of coffees, spices, sweeteners), the outdoor space is incredible, and the setting is gorgeous. "Could be a very nice home on the lake if more care was taken. Sort of a hodge-podge place with pieces of plooring missing, cabinets without handles, lots of cobwebs and a bit dirty overall. The bathroom was not good, the toilet water was brown and the water came out as a trickle in the sink. Bathroom needs a thorough clean. "Rustic charm meets luxury. We stayed here the night before a ride on the Potomac Eagle Scenic Train and it was perfect. The architecture is very charming and the tasteful updates, specifically the expansive bathroom, really added a sense of luxury to the experience. The place was incredibly clean and welcoming.
