"The owner Salvo was a lovely host who went out of his way to show us around and keep things running smoothly. He also offers a great guided tour of Etna, at rates lower than the tourist guides and is personalised to suit your requirements. The villa is lovely, reasonably well furnished with a pool and views across to Etna and the sea. It is located in a quiet private and gated housing estate, but a good 45 min walk to Brucoli. A car is essential to fully enjoy the area, as Brucoli is quite remote with a few cafe and restaurants, but not a tourist hot spot. "
