Summary:
Tucked along the edge of a quiet vineyard valley, La Maisonette is a warm, light-filled cottage just a five-minute stroll from Onetangi Beach. With green views, gentle sea breezes, and the calm of the surrounding valley, it’s an easy, peaceful retreat for couples wanting stillness and simple island living.
The Space:
La Maisonette is bright, uncluttered, and designed for quiet, easy days. The open-plan kitchen and dining area features handcrafted timber cabinetry and everything needed for relaxed meals at home, including a two-burner ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, and simple cooking essentials.
The lounge is cosy and straightforward, with a 32-inch TV, Freeview, DVD player, and an iPod dock for evenings in. Terracotta floors help keep the cottage cool through the warmer months, and the surrounding greenery brings a calm, sheltered feel indoors.
The bedroom is spacious and comfortable, with a superior queen bed, premium linen, soft lighting, and an ensuite bathroom with a bath, a welcome place to unwind after a day at the beach or a long lunch in one of the nearby vineyards.
The balcony looks over the valley and vineyard with glimpses of the sea. It’s a quiet spot for slow breakfasts, afternoon reading, or a glass of wine as the light softens across the hillside.
