"My room was clean well put together. Had a great shower. Good bed linens. All the staff that I encountered were helpful. I am on a restricted diet so I did not eat at the breakfast, but I did use the coffee service in the lobby. and it was excellent. I did not use the hot tub but used the pool. What a great pool! I enjoyed the room to do some of my water aerobics. I will be staying again when I return to Saginaw next year to visit my family. It is in a great location."

"This hotel is very clean and front desk was very nice. We had a great time. Bed was comfortable. Also, great choices on tv channels. And it's in walking distance to many restaurants. Beautiful view of the river, especially at night."

"Pleasant stay--greatStaff and Good Value! My boyfriend and I had a very pleasant stay at the Econo Lodge & Suites in Auburn, Michigan. Although I was extremely disappointed with the booking experience through Hotels.com, I want to make it clear that the issues were not the hotel's fault. In fact, the hotel staff was wonderful! They were very kind, accommodating, and welcoming. They allowed us to check in early and check out late, and they genuinely seemed to do their best to make sure we were happy with our stay. They succeeded, and we truly appreciated their efforts! My frustration was with Hotels.com, not the hotel itself. When I booked the room, the description and listed amenities indicated that we would have a private jacuzzi or whirlpool. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were given a standard room without one. I spent almost $100 expecting a jacuzzi room, so this was very disappointing. I also felt that I was overcharged for the room. I contacted Hotels.com to address these issues, but they denied responsibility and failed to offer any accommodation or resolution. Despite the booking issues, the hotel itself was actually 1 of the nicer places I've stayed in. The staff treated us well, the experience was pleasant, and the hotel offers good value for the price. My boyfriend and I would absolutely stay here again! My recommendation: I would definitely recommend the Econo Lodge & Suites in Auburn, Michigan, especially for anyone looking for an affordable and pleasant stay"
