The night before we stayed at the worse hotel and took a chance here. I have NO idea why there are any 2star reviews, we were a bit scared but decided to go for it. The room had a full kitchen with appliances a couch bed a king bed and the shower head was amazing. The breakfast was a good spread & I was happy to get bacon because it always runs out. Pool looked nice but we didn’t use it. We were pleasantly surprised and for $270 it’s a steal compared to what is offered around there for same price. It’s about 2min drive to OC as well!

This property was terrible and nothing Like the pictures shown that was definitely from the previous owner and it was so dirty and the appliances were broke and the cabinets had so Much dried oil on them and the rugs are stained up and the musty smell was the worse I booked it for 4days and 3 night and left after 2 nights

Maybe it was the stained carpet or the bugs in the fridge or the rusted out furniture or the pungent odor of mold and old smoke, this place was a dump. The reviews were misleading to say the least and we paid way too much to lay awake all night while “Brittany” and her friends hashed out a lifetime of grievances outside our door. The staff was unable to look up from their phone at check out. The lot was flooded with exhausted people the next morning who clearly had similar experiences to ours. It’s basically a junkie motel sold as “suites.”

The front desk staff needs to have better English skills! This used to be a great place to stay, but the new management is lacking. Breakfast used to be a decent hot meal and is now Continental during the week and a pretty lame one, at that. They charged my credit card $60 more than the Expedia price and it’s very difficult to straighten that out with a person who doesn’t understand English very well. Very doubtful that I would stay there again

I stayed at this property years ago (before Covid) so I was excited to come back again. Sadly, this property has sorely declined. It's in BAD need of maintenance and refurb. Looked like black mold in my bathroom (I let management know), empty shower product containers, carpets dirty, ripped curtain, windows in bad condition and front door with badly peeling paint. I don't recall them allowing pets years ago but now they do. A lot of dogs which means dog smell in the room. I really hope management puts a little money into this place so it can be restored to an acceptable standard! Until then, I do not recommend this property.

I was able to get to the hotel after a long day of driving at night time to check in, I was astonished when the girl on the front desk rudely told me that they don't have any room available for me and she is sorry that nobody called me! I needed to take all my stuff back to my car and find myself a place to put my head on. What a shame!!

Property is good but service is terrible since management changed , hard to get room cleaning , ants in bed , less food during week days whatever left from weekend , lot of dogs with noisy , if you ask front desk for any things answers always not available, although I have been in this hotels two times before but this will be last one , it seems to be the hotels reduced crew for cleaning , reduce food during week in order to cut cost of operation, this is really shame , was one of favorite hotels but not anymore .

I recently stayed at this hotel managed by AVIA, who purchased from Sonesta, and I was extremely disappointed with my experience. The outside area was dirty and poorly managed. Garbage was piled up everywhere in the pool area with a dirty diaper that was under a table for two days ,the side of the building close to the pool (the check in area)had pushcart filled with garbage next to the bushes with flies swarming around it. Our room had no bath towels, just hand towels. They gave us pool towels to compensate . There was no soap or shampoo in the refillable bottles in the shower. The parking lot was littered with trash. I also booked a room on the first floor for my parents, it smelled like mold. They didn’t have anything to spray in the room so we actually ran out and purchased Lysol and tried that. I would think that the early shift at 6:00 am in morning or third shift staff does not do much, so they could at least put the chairs around the table at the pool area, and at least tie the garbage bags that’s surrounded by flies and replace it with a clean bag at least once every day instead of letting the Garbage pile up for a few days straight. A daily walk around the parking lot with a garbage bag probably couldn’t hurt. This hotel needs significant improvements in cleanliness and management. A simple obvious punchlist would probably resolve some of their issues that need to be attended to . I would not recommend staying here if you used to staying at other Sonesta’s hotel .
