The staff are always really helpful and accommodating, and I've thoroughly enjoyed exploring a number of the different rooms in the hotel in that time. I'm retiring soon, so probably my last visit there before Christmas - I would thoroughly recommend it."

"Room was well appointed and clean. Bed was comfy and shower was powerful and hot. Water, coffee and biscuits along with a selection of tea's in the room. Views from the room were good, it's a quiet area. Staff here are polite and welcoming, whether they are serving you or just passing by. We paid for breakfast, lots of choice for cold breakfast, really is something for everyone. Hot breakfast was to order, we could pretty much choose anything. Food could and should have been hotter considering...

I have to say that one staff member went over and above.. he fixed my television (the lead was detached) as I was very keen to watch the second episode of “call the midwife” on the Boxing Day .. started at 20.30 and we checked in at 18.30.. the reception was very busy and he still had the patience and care to fix it for me "
