Thank you for sharing your cottage. The details and style reminds me of an Italian Villa. Very clean, complete kitchen and comfortable bed made for a relaxing get away. The private yard was perfect for my pup, exactly what I was looking for. The host, Bren was great. He shared his spices and they added wonderful flavors to every meal. He has two of the happiest dogs who greeted us with wagging tails. Will return next time we are in the area. Cheers.

Lived up to expectations in every way. Property was quiet, secluded, and had everything we needed for my friend and me. Beautiful, quaint cottage. Kitchen had everything we needed, beds were super comfortable, and the backyard patio was perfect for morning quiet times. And Bren was very helpful (and his homemade spices that he offers with the rental were fantastic!). Definitely recommended.

We loved our stay at Bren’s place. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The location of the property was excellent. Very close to the highway, so easy access to the wineries. The place is extremely quiet. It is very relaxing to sit outside and look at nature. The beds were very comfortable. We got to meet Bren the owner. He was very pleasant to talk to. We all agreed that we would stay there again.

Absolutely fantastic little place! Easy to find, great location, very quiet neighborhood and beautiful outdoor setting. The house was clean and very well stocked with everything one would need. We saw deer, grouse, and more birds than you could imagine; many different types. Bren, the owner was a delight to get to know. Very friendly and great communication. If I am ever in town again I will 100 percent stay here again.

A perfect place to use as a base for wine tasting in Paso area. Beautiful quiet setting, great backyard patio perfect for mornings and evenings spent sighting deer, owls, hummingbirds and more. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, close to everything. Bren the owner was great and very easy and responsive to work with. There was even a small garden and we truly enjoyed the fresh ripe tomatoes! Our party of four all agreed it was a great find.

We had a wonderful stay here, it was very comfortable for our needs. The property was clean except, the living room couch is a little tired and dirty . Bryn was a great host and Lucy and Lacey were a pleasure . They greeted us every morning 😊All in all a great spot for my husband and I to relax and get away for a small stay.

Our family stayed here during the grad weekend at cal poly and we had an amazing time! Our puppy had so much space that was dog friendly to run around and hangout as well. Highlight were Bren’s spices that we enjoyed and took home including some cilantro from the garden! I hope to be back!

Great rental with magnificent views. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the seasonings blends that the owner, Bren, left us and the fresh vegies from the garden was another fun bonus. We highly recommend!

My father and I stayed over the weekend because we were in town for a wedding. It was such a relaxing place to stay and unwind around all the hoopla for the wedding. Bren was such a friendly person and we even got quite a bit of his secret spices for later. His two little dogs were very friendly as well.

We spent 4 wonderful days at Vita Amarosa. The guest house was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and very private. It was furnished with everything you would need for a relaxing stay. Bren went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and at the same time give us our privacy. As an added bonus we received wonderful spices to take home and remind us of our wonderful trip every time we use them. We will definitely stay at Vita Amarosa again; we look forward to seeing the deer again.

Every detail was provided for us, all the way to a vegetable garden in the backyard where we were allowed to pick ripe produce. The backyard view was amazing and we enjoyed the interaction with the owner's dogs.

Well equipped house with higher end appliances and furnishings in a quiet neighborhood with an out in the woods feel. King size bed was firm and extremely comfortable. Wonderful shower with 2 shower heads in master bath and tub in hall bath. Back patio with table for eating steaks grilled on the stainless gas grill was quiet with beautiful view of the wooded hills. Bren lives in the main house on the property and is super friendly and hospitable. Loved our 3 day stay and would go back.

Cottage is just what we hoped, and had more nice touches than the photos showed. On arrival the host Bren gave us a few tips on the region, as we are not familiar with the area. We felt very comfortable immediately, and the space in the yard and beyond provide such a relaxing atmosphere. We (family of three, child is a teen) all very much enjoyed our stay and will stay here again on our next journey to or through the area. Bren is an excellent host - very kind and available with his knowledge, but busy with his work; PRVR are astute and checked that our stay was progressing as expected - an excellent pairing for a vacation stay.

A wonderful cozy house. Very well stocked. Bren, the owner, was a delight. By the way your tomatoes were really delicious. The yard is fully enclosed. We have a dog. He loved playing with the owner's dogs and being able to run in a large enclosed area. Our grandchildren came to visit. The house has a swing and slide set plus a climbing wall. All in all a wonderful stay. We'll be back!!

Beautiful guest house with great amenities. Pictures totally accurate- beautiful back deck with view of oak trees and mountains beyond. Quiet and relaxing. Great kitchen to work with. Owner Bren is a great guy, very friendly and informative. Available if you need him and out of the oicture if you need privacy. Great host. He also produces his own line of grilling seasonings which he gifts you as his guests, Very generous and thoughtful. Will be back and 100% recommend.
