"Black Forest Cabins were beautiful! The decor inside the cabin was adorable. It was spacious and clean. I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the bathroom- bigger than expected. The cabins are located within walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shopping, the ocean, and walking trails. I would recommend staying here!"

"Facility is right on the Bay - excellent view - Bluenose is docked next door as is the Fisherman’s Museum. Parking is a problem - need to arrive early ( well before 10.00 AM ) to secure a metered spot. Free parking in the downtown is practically non existence. Lots of good restaurants in town "

"This is a great inexpensive motel. The rooms are clean, the bed comfortable and the air conditioner is almost silent as it is a mini-split. This will be my go to place when in Halifax. It’s a basic motel and my room had a small kitchen table and 2 chairs so it’s not a place to just hang out."
