"Good hotel and location"

"Impressive building with lovely grounds; however unfortunately our room did not live up to the same standard with wine bottles & beer cans left at the door on entry, along with the odour from the previous guests takeaway. Thankfully the staff were able to accommodate a different room for our stay, but it is worth noting the rooms both shared a rather tired appearance and we left a little deflated bearing in mind the room rate."

"Don't be deceived by the photos. It's a rapidly ageing hotel that feels cheap. I would not stay here again."

"Very nice staff, very clean room, nice clean bathroom nice shower over the bath plenty of hot water good water pressure, 2 small bottles of shampoo and body wash and a small bar of soap towels provided. Nice room with desk and chairs the bed was comfortable. Not enough power points to charge your phone/laptop/watch no USB points especially difficult if two people have items to charge at the same time maybe bring an extension lead/plug. Car parking is charged and expensive especially if staying...

"I thoroughly enjoyed my one night stay. The downside was the food from the bar, which was not up to the Hotel standards. I did talk with the manager and he compensated my meal which was kind. The reason I mentioned this is so that they can improve the cooking method to make the food more palatable. The two young ladies at the front desk were charming and very, very helpful. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone who asks."

"Could not fault anything, this is our 2nd visit and we will be back. Value for money and close to everything I wanted to see. Nathan on the reception who greeted on arrival was so helpful , polite and a diamond who will go far. Thank you x"

"We had an excellent stay at the Hilton Leeds City Centre. The hotel is in a fantastic location, very convenient for the city centre, shops, restaurants and the train station, which made everything really easy. The staff were friendly, professional and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and check-in was smooth and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable and well presented, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel had a good overall...

"Excellent hotel in the city centre, second time we stayed there in recent months and already booked again for next January. Facilities second to none, great studio rooms if you want to self cater but don’t miss the well-stocked breakfast buffet! Staff super friendly… overall 5 stars!!"

"Note the hotel is surrounded by bars open until 4am and 6am and if your room is facing out on to the main road you might be in for a very sleepless night. The hotel have very little empathy, just along the lines of what do you expect, its in a city centre hotel,.thats the general attitude. Also outright lied and said they offered an alternative room which when i asked at reception was actually told an outtright "no we are fully booked but there are earplugs provided in your room". Such a shame...

"Decent budget hotel handy for a short break near Leeds city centre (about 10 mins walk). Room was clean and bed comfortable, quiet enough so had 2 decent nights sleep. Shower wasn't that powerful but managed ok. Buffet breakfast was adequate and you could have as much as you wanted. Handy later checkout at 12 so you didn't have to rush. Would probably stay there again for a short break."

"The hotel is close to Leeds station and within easy walking distance of the city centre and associated attractions. My room was comfortable, clean and I had a good night sleep. The continental breakfast is good value for money. Any staff I had contact with with very friendly and helpful"

"Very nice hotel and lovely breakfast too. We were with a toddler so cautious about the noise as there were many reviews about high noise level. When we close the windows, it didn’t bother us. It’s so close to many good restaurants and attractions. So we loved it."

"I have visited Leeds many times but never stayed at the Queens hotel until now and I’m very impressed. A grand hotel with a long history which feels elegant and luxurious. Perfect location for the train station, you can access the hotel from inside. Rooms surprisingly modern and very comfortable. The only downside was the noise through the windows however that didn’t put me off from staying again. I’ve already booked my next stay."

"The hotel boasts a perfect location and very spacious, beautiful rooms. However, the decor and fixtures are outdated. With a proper renovation, this property would be flawless. I was deeply disappointed by the bedding. While advertised as a King bed, it was actually two Twin beds pushed together without a mattress topper. This is unacceptable for a hotel and resulted in a very uncomfortable stay."
