"Helpful staff , excellent room"

"Perfect stop for a long journey"

"The Castle House is very conveniently located and reasonably priced. Our room was gorgeous, including a wonderful tub for a relaxing bath and a huge, comfortable, fancy bed. Breakfast was delicious and packed lunches were available for us C2C hikers. Our only small gripe was that the hosts were not available in the evening to help us with laundry, but I would still recommend staying here!"

"Good location with excellent views, unfortunately room was very basic and smelt damp. The shower was poor and the bathroom wasn’t very clean. Continental breakfast in October??? Over priced stay for basic amenities."

The room was clean, bedding and bed were comfortable we did not eat as arrived at 3 dropped bags and headed to wedding.left at 8 in morning Would stay again as we both said apart from corridors and general impression it was a nice nights sleep Plenty parking and nice area for a morning...
