"What a truly beautiful place to stay. The cottage was lovely , the log fire was a big hit & perfect to come home to after a day of walking. Bobbie & Trevor were perfect hosts, always there to answer a question but never intrusive. Our nutty setter loved walking up & down their extremely long driveway, you do feel like you are in another world - away from everything. "Absolutely lovely. The accommodation is excellent - a superior barn conversion. Really fabulous on a working farm. Hen Curtis was very friendly as well as her dogs Fido (retired sheep dog) Jumble mixed Labby/Poodle, Pinto young sheep dog. All love a good bit of stroking (not Hen!!!!). Relaxing place to be with great walks on and around the farm. Not to be missed."

"The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished with some lovely welcome treats upon arrival. It was also a lovely quiet place. The only downside, personally, was we would have preferred a small table and chairs near the foot of the stairs over bar stools at a breakfast bar. Being able to use the log burner would have been nice but with a thatched roof, we understand the dangers of that."

"Plenty of space for 4 adults. The outside verandah was well used as it was so peaceful and quiet to sit out on. Three toilets to the property was a great advantage. The property is not overlooked. The journey to the property is along narrow lanes but with plenty of routes to choose from."

"We stayed from 25th Aug-1st Sept. The property totally exceeded our expectations which were extremely high. The facilities are second to none, it felt like a home from home but in much more beautiful surroundings. Orchard House is very close to all amenities but secluded for peace and tranquility. There was a lovely offering on arrival in the form of a welcome pack, totally unexpected and a treat. The owners were friendly and chatted to members of my family. I cannot recommend this property...
