"Great for an overnight stay. Plenty parking, but watch height restriction into main bit of carpark. Our room and I think most rooms, was away from bar area and road so not noisy. Really clean, good condition, great for an overnight stay, but standard room a bit small for an extended stay. Allow time for breakfast in the morning, great choice and cooked to order, worth the wait. Meal in bar in evening good. Staff all pleasant and helpful. Would stay here again and would recommend. "Lovely warm welcome, superb nights sleep….although was a little worse for wear after my old buddies wake. Woke up to a superb hot shower, enormous fluffy towel, and then the most amazing and sumptuous breakfast I have EVER had….and I’ve had some breakfast! The absolute best. Thank you so much for making the end of a tough day really rather lovely. Owners and staff treated me like a regular immediately. In the words of Arnold….ill be back!! X"

"Located in a lovely setting but starting to look a bit tired throughout. We booked an upgraded room so two nights cost £355.00 Bed and breakfast which I don’t feel was good value. We have stayed in a much nicer hotel with that amount of budget. The room was OK but things like a shower over the bath with a rather tired curtain were not what we had expected. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately I felt the experience didn’t live up to our expectations...

"Myself and my partner stayed for 2 nights, on the first night with were arriving at 8.10pm just after the kitchen normally closes. We rang up and nothing was too much trouble, we preordered over the phone and they held off on preparing our meal until we arrived. Food was amazing and we had a lovely few drinks in the pub which has such a warm atmosphere. Our room was lovely, we particularly enjoyed the log burner, and was a great size. A great stay, we would definitely come again! "
