"The worst breakfast I have ever experienced in a hotel. Open individual trying to set up a buffet breakfast for all the residents. No coffee, no milk, almost nothing of anything. The scrambled eggs being served are like nothing I have ever seen in my life. Not fit for human consumption."

"The was our first time staying at the Bedford Inn, and it was a great place to stay. It is located right downtown in the square which made it convenient to walk everywhere. The young lady at check-in was very friendly, and helpful by asking if this was our first time there, and then explained the in-out privileges during the later hours. The rooms and the entire hotel are obviously dated because it was built in 1892, however everything was clean and fresh, and the beds were very comfortable. The overall historical appearance, the winding staircase, and the squeaky floors added to the charm of this hotel. There are 3 floors and no elevators, and the breakfast was fine; just the basics. I will be staying here from now when visiting Goderich just because of its convenient location, and the price."

"This was a lovely experience and so relaxing... the pool and it's deck are great though the hottub is not what is expected... no powerful jets maybe due to the age? I am guessing... Goderich is near by and they have a great flee market on Sundays. The whole place is charming and so beautiful. We had 2 great dinners and everything was on point. Thank you chef. 😀 We will be back!"

"Cute cottage on nice property. Appreciated that we could toke our dogs. Relatively recent renovations giving modern vibe. Property was taken care of, grass was cut, tidy fire pit area, solid stairs on the owners portion down to beach ( last half is municipal and a little rickety in couple places). Kitchen and bath are stocked to get you by. We did have to get our own paper towels and more toilet paper for the size of our party.Generally all felt clean, beds, bathroom, towels, except the floors. Floors were gritty and visible crumbs and spoon under couch.Tap Water currently has a sulphur smell. There were quite a few wasps around though they didn’t tend to bother with us. You most likely would want water shoes for the beach and for other beaches in the area the rocks are hard on the feet."

"This is what we really enjoyed about the property; very quiet, private, rustic-type cabin, beautiful porch to sit and look at the water and the sunset, large yard with lots of birds and animals to appreciate, peaceful. Really tied into nature. The energy is very good here. We had fun going down the steps to the beach going swimming. We would come back in a heartbeat. Do remember your sheets and towels. "
