"Very dated. No usb chargers or even plug points near beds. Bathroom very old and feel dirty, even though they clean, due to how aged and worn out they are.
Window lets in a lot of noise. Ok for a quick one night stay.
On the plus side, staff was excellent and breakfast was great."
"The staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful during our stay. The breakfast was fine for the price (£9 full, £6.99 continental buffet), with limited choice, but all branded and nicely set out.
The room was basic and in need of a bit of a refurb, but again for the price and for one or two nights at short notice was absolutely fine. Would stay there again and probably make more use of the pub/restaurant which was busy both nights.

"Helpful staff & smooth check in.
We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that.
The pub itself was good for food competitively priced, which can be ordered thru the app (along with drinks)
The drinks we had an issue with - there were drinks on the app that weren’t available at the bar, the glasses had lipstick marks on them so washing is an issue & we were served a Fentiman’s Dandelion & Burdock drink 6 months out of date so stock rotation is a problem here.
Our room only had a fan to keep...
"A really great traditional inn, great food, brilliant atmosphere and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The bonus of a private car park in Bakewell is a pearl beyond price, as parking, especially on market days is at a premium. I would have given the max stars had the room, which was OK had not been a little small ( it was named BAKEWELL).
