"Staff was great. Food was great. Property was great. Natural setting with birds and monkeys was really great. On a clear day you can see the top of Kilimanjaro as you have a gin and tonic on the veranda in the photo. Monkeys would be playing overhead as you were eating on a terrace overlooking a bird paradise. Horseback riding was great through the village and jungly terrain. "The facilities, including the lodge, furnishings and buildings were tip top, much to like. The greenery - trees, gardens great. Some of the staff - especially house keeping were unresponsive/slow and if something was requested in the room, took too long, and once we requested towels at the swimming pool which were never delivered even after following up. "Great experience, we were picked up at the airport by friendly staff on time, the hotel is a 10 minutes drive from the airport. The hotel property is clean, safe, and welcoming. The staff was always welcoming, caring, friendly, and professional. The food was delicious, the rooms had air conditioning, hot water, were very large and comfortable. We stayed with them on two different occasions and we will use them again on future stays."

"This hotel is lovely. It's surrounded by beautiful trees and a river. The best part are the monkeys that climb through the trees and can be viewed from the restaurant. The rooms are beautiful in a sparse, clean and sophisticated way with tasteful choice of art and furnishings. The place is great for kids - a lovely pool and great play area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a great choice of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I would highly recommend this hotel to...
