"Best location right between Copacabana and Ipanema. My favorite part was the rooftop decks. You can see Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf, as well as the rock at Ipanema where everyone watches the sunset. "

"The staff were very friendly and accommodating as we arrived well before our check in time. They secured our luggage and let us use a common area to change and spend some time outside the hotel until the rooms were ready. The breakfast was better than expected, the rooms are small and beds a little hard. The elevators are also extremely slow and small for the size of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again based on location and price. "

"The room was clean and comfortable the water pressure for our shower was amazing! Beach is right across the street. We did not have an Ocean view but we didn’t go to spend time in our room so it didn’t matter. A little disappointing that when we wanted to unwind and have drinks on the roof the drinks had to come from the 1st floor so it took forever. But I would recommend staying there!"

"It was a very poor experience in many ways: 1. We were not able to get into our room until almost supper time, and was told continuously for almost four hours that it would be ready soon. 2. The room appeared to be missing some furniture, with an empty space where a couch, table or chairs should have been. 3. On the second full day of our stay, the air conditioning stopped working from early afternoon until late evening. We were not able to stay in the room and was, once again, told over and over again that it would be fixed anywhere from five to fifteen minutes. The reasons were also different and illogical. 4. At the end of the evening, we were told that our third night’s room charge would be refunded to us. We are still waiting. "
