"The exterior was in good shape, but the room was dirty and in serious need of a major upgrade. The desk was designed more to prevent robbery and the clerk had only fair command of English. I shared to room with at least one roach. I paid for two nights but one was enough and I left. The location is only close to I65 and nothing else. I had read that the motel had recently been rehabilitated -- but if so apparently they skipped my room."

"Clean, relatively new property. Builders did a shoddy job on the shower walls—there were gaps in the corners in places where the sheets of tiling didn’t meet. Room had a strong smell of artificial scenting of some type. Triggered my asthma. Front desk staff was unconcerned about my situation. No offer of assistance or remedy. He was too eager to get back to his video or tv. I finally figured out the next morning that it was some type of scenting on the bedside lamp. No clock/ alarm in the room."
