There are a few mosquitoes that have amazing talent for getting inside but not enough to be discouragement. You can really tell the place is a labor of love."

"Staff was terrific. Their restaurant was closed and I needed a meal. She arranged for food to be dropped off for me. The driver to the airport was also professional and kind. The hotel was clean and simple. Because of proximity to airport you could hear planes overhead. "

"I’ll start with the good…the hotel was clean and well equipped within the rooms for a stay. The property is located a few metres from a very small strip of pebbled beach. We feel very misled re the property description. We chose this property as it had ‘on site parking’ available which was very important to us with expensive bikes in our vehicle. On arrival it was obvious there was NO on site parking only parking in the road (not secured). I asked the host where the parking was and he directed me to the roadside parking. Straightaway we were then asked to pay for our stay CASH ONLY which we didn’t have. Only to be advised where the local cash point was. There was NO restaurant, NO coffee shop/cafe or beach bar on site !?! We were not also made aware of any common area for tea/coffee. We’re astounded that these things were listed and it feels nothing other than being misled !! The front desk was not OPEN at all through our stay, it states it’s open 2-8 pm. When we turned up (hoping to have lunch at the bar) I had to call up the stairs for attention as desk area was chained up. The general area felt quite lacking and with our disappointment at this place our trip wasn’t what we’d hoped it to be. We looked at Trogir…a much better option if you’re looking around this area. I hope this honest feedback helps others"

"The villa and the location are so beautiful. The owner, Matko, is extremely kind and helpful giving advice on the local area and activities. There are lots of different places to sit and enjoy either the sun or the shade. The view across to Split is just as good in the day as in the evening. The sea/beach is directly at the bottom of the garden and the water is warm and beautifully clear. Some bars, restaurants, supermarket all within walking distance. A big thanks to Matko and his family for making us feel so welcome at their villa, we all had an amazing time."
