"We had a lovely weeks stay at Porto Angeli. From the moment you arrive there's a wow factor and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. We stayed in the junior suite and there was plenty of room for my husband, 2 young children and I. The bed was huuuuuge and we were sad to have to say bye to it! Also having our own pool made the kids' lunchtime naps much more enjoyable for us. My toddler has food allergies and chef Costas made special dishes for him with a big smile on his face. A special thank you to him. But all staff were so professional and very friendly, including the lovely ladies on reception who couldn't do enough for us. The food was great and varied with plenty of choice. The dining setting outside was lovely. The kids playground was big and had lots to keep little ones entertained. One day we decided to venture out of the hotel and it was easy to rent a car from the hotel. We were (and still are!) sad to leave this lovely hotel. A couple of slight areas for improvement is to mix up the A La Carte menu throughout the week. Also, the temperature of the pools was colder than the sea. It would have been good to have them a little warmer, even if only the kids pool. This did not impact our stay negatively - just ideas for improvement :) "

"Love embracing the culture away from the tourist traps. You don't really need a car. You can hire a taxi to get there and take the bus the rest of the time. Buses are reasonable only 3.30 euro from the town into the tourist cities. No need to look for parking in Rhodes or Lindos with the bus system. Bus station is maybe a 5- 8 minute walk. I will probably not rent a car next time. Rustic and what the locals live in. Loved the private patio. My daughter stayed up nights with the lights on reading on the patio. The beaches are not crowed and loungers, shade umbrellas are affordable. You do have to be a little agile to take the steps up to the cottage. I'm no spring chicken and made it up and down easily. Thru the back garden gate is the castle. An easy walk to the castle and the church within. Stella the owner will bend over backwards to provide anything you are missing or require. Lots of information on local events or sites that you might not know are happening. Really they were a knock or email away. They even were kind enough to present us with a lovely going away gift. This was probably one of the best places I have stayed in for privacy and location. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the villa which is spacious and well equipped. The star is the stunning garden and pool, though we also visited many of the nearby beaches. Alex was very helpful from the point that we booked, to the moment we checked out, and he also recommended some excellent restaurants. Thank you Alex. We would definitely return."

"The villa is just as described and pictured with amazing views and plenty of outside space. The location is convenient for accessing places to visit but feels secluded and peaceful. The air conditioning works very well and comfortable spacious rooms meant we all slept very well. The pool is very clean and beautifully maintained along with the lush planting outside. We would definitely recommend this villa and the communication with owner was very helpful before and during the stay. Hope to return one day soon!"

"Cosy little property with a beautiful pool area, run by a lovely Rhodian family. The staff were incredibly hospitable and accommodating. Excellent restaurants just a 5-10 minute walk away, very authentic Greek and not overly touristy. 10/10 from this Australian a long way from home!"
