"The grounds were beautiful. We were able to check in our room right away. I was a VIP so I received a free bottle of wine. That was ready right at check-in. However, I was a little disappointed that I wasn’t given an option of red or white wine. I’m not a red wine drinker and they only had red wine. So it was a waste. We ate at The View restaurant and the service was a damper. It took about 30 minutes for someone to take our order after I had to speak with someone. They blamed it on a communication error. On the other hand, the food and the views were good. The room was nice and spacious and gave a lot of pillows which I liked. The swimming area was nice and clean. Great location to the boardwalk. Overall me and my family loved it and will be back. "

"The hotel is in desperate need of updating and maintenance. That being said, it was relatively clean and a good value for the area. The room was small, but good for one night. "

Upgrades they need in the room I was in the shower surround needs to be replaced. The bed was too soft, the bottom fitted sheet is the wrong size for the mattress. It does not stay, smooth and sleek. I didn’t appreciate the nightly rate and felt it was exorbitant. I do understand it was graduation week. I would like to know if the rate would have been different had I booked directly with the hotel. The person who made my reservation used hotels.com. "
