"There was a damp smell upon arrival. When we looked around we could see there had been a leak from the bathroom staining the ceilings and carpets. The bathroom door did not lock and there property was generally in a poor state of repair. Marks on every wall and paint peeling from the window sills. "Property was in an ideal location for us. Parking wasn’t ever an issue for us as long as you accept there may be a small walk involved. Cottage was lovely but could maybe do with a deeper clean and some TLC in places….bathroom door, downstairs toilet seat for example."

"Had a lovely 4 day break here the apartment is very well located ,central to everything in windermere !The bedroom was lovely and the girls went on the pull down sofa bed. Was just big enough for two adults and two children !There is only a bath no shower (i think due to the boiler being placed at the end of bath )so this was the only downside ,no back yard so if you like sitting out a little there is no outdoor space .Overall very nice affordable accommodation, would use again .....Thankyou...

"The location is great. The road is a tad noisy when outside but cannot hear it inside the cottage. The cottage has all essentials for 2 people. The bathroom can be quite akward even for a slim person. The shelf in the bathroom needs fixing and the doors of the shower don't close properly."
