"The apartment was well placed for walking into Annecy. It was clean and spacious enough for our needs. I did book a 4 person apartment which implied we had four separate beds which we needed. What we actually ended up with was a double, a single sofa and a pull out single trundle bed. It wasn’t ideal but we made it work. Small studio kitchen was well equipped. Toilet separate from the bathroom was good, however no sink in the toilet area was a little strange. Opening doors, walking through the apartment and using light switches with unwashed hands wasn’t my favourite thing. Free coffee, tea and water was a great advantage. Staff friendly and helpful. "

"Brilliant location, less than five minutes from the train station and easy walk into the old town. Great storage for a small room. Would just suggest refillable amenities and more towel racks. Afternoon tea/coffee station a nice touch."

"It's a very nice hotel with beautiful view over lake Annecy. The server at breakfast was delightful. The only thing that marred my visit was the attitude of the server Easter evening. I had had a big meal midday with friends and I wanted just a salad. I ordered a 15 euro mocktail and a salad and the server was clearly irritated and pushed me to order wine. I'm bilingual and visit France frequently and I'm pretty stunned that this attitude persists. It's very unwelcome behavior. Il avait pas mal de caractère."

"Beautiful location with beautiful views. Staff very helpful. Room well equipped and stylish. Used the pool facilities which were very clean and modern. The casino was a bonus - we had fun trying to win - but we didn’t ."

"Booked in Jan for April stay. Asked for rooms with good view. Got back alley view of boarded windows and so much pigeon poop we had to keep the windows closed in the too-hot room for fear of disease. Air conditioning did nothing. Toilet seat was broken in both rooms. Room had 3 Kleenex in the box. Next day room was partially serviced, still no Kleenex. Breakfast first morning buffet was pretty much empty. Male attendant was kind of rude in telling us he wasn’t bringing more food. He was sure willing to take our money though. Stayed here in 2006 and 2009; would have rated 5 stars both times. Way downhill, won’t be back. "

"Nice, clean small hotel at the center of Annecy, front desk close at 6 pm, so you have to self-check in by the machine at the main gate by first and last name. Parking has to be reserved, but not to hard to find street or off site parking for a reasonable price."
