"First of all the 8.8 rating by Hotels.com is bogus. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, and this is 7 or below. Don’t get me wrong, for the price it was a good bargain; clean, beds were nice, newly renovated. So I would recommend it for a quick, cheap stay, but it was spartan. Only a desk chair in the room. The basic necessities, but no more. Service was scarce and the breakfast left a lot to be desired. Now let me mention a problem we had. About 10:00 at night a motor went on and our floor was vibrating. It was coming from outside our room. My gues was from the room below. My wife said is sounded like a tractor trailer outside our window (none visible). The hotel staff was clueless, so we requested to move rooms at 11:00 pm. So we packed up again and moved to another part of the hotel. I would still recommend the hotel for an inexpensive room, but don’t expect and 8.8."

"Check in was smooth and fast; room was clean; the table light switches were found broken and reported them to front desk promptly; water pressure in the bathroom was good; breakfast was average (they had 3 hot food available but none suitable for us, vegetarians; of course coffee, bread, bagel and butter was there). front desk guy gave some guidance on routes to Niagara falls; Overall our stay was pleasant."

"This is an ideal spot for a weekend away at the lake! It is a very large space, with no shortage of windows and natural light. The location is close to other parks and restaurants, and not far from Buffalo at all. We had a wonderful time!"
ANGOLA BEACH APARTMENT - GRANDVIEW BAY 2 BEDROOMS

"Everything was exactly as pictured. It was very clean, and the beach was a 30 second walk across the street. The beach itself was clean and very quiet. The place was the lower apartment of a house with a few stone steps up to the doorway. The couch does not pull out but there was an air mattress and sheets provided in the master closet. It was very nicely put together and fit our needs perfectly."
