"Think “Disney meets Las Vegas” in the Caribbean - crowded, chaotic, and overwhelmingly geared toward families. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing, adult getaway, this is absolutely not the place!
The resort was packed with kids everywhere, and there was zero sense of calm or serenity at any point during our 5-night stay. It felt more like an amusement park than a luxury resort.
To make matters worse, we lost an entire day of our vacation due to an injury caused by the lounge chairs. They are cheaply made and packed so tightly together that there’s virtually no space to move safely. This resulted in a trip to the local hospital—completely unacceptable for a resort at this price point.
Speaking of cost—everything is overpriced. You’ll pay premium prices across the board, yet the experience doesn’t match.
Dining was hit or miss. Marcus Fish + Chop House was excellent and a standout meal. However, most dining options came with long lines, and dinner reservations are absolutely necessary if you want to eat! Pizza Lab was an absolute disaster when it rained all day. We stood in line for 45 minutes for takeout, only to be told at the register that they had stopped making pizzas. No warning, no communication—just a huge waste of time.
Overall, despite the variety of amenities and food choices, the overcrowding, lack of relaxation, safety concerns, and high prices made this a disappointing experience. We all agreed—this is not a place we would ever choose to return to."
"The lagoon area is great for swimming and not having to worry about what the sea is doing. There is a beach on the Caribbean about a 3mon walk. Expect lots of kids. You can take public bus to Nassau in about 20-30 mins- costs 1.50 a person. Taxis are 30-40$. Several restaurants close to the hotel- food on the island is expensive for why it is. Expect 15% tip and 10% vat added on- this is what makes it more expensive.
We liked thy we were away from Nassau- busy from 7am till 7pm when the boats are in.
Overall great stay- we have been to several other islands in the Caribbean to scuba. We did this with our teenage sons since they do not scuba. They had fun. We had fun. What more can you ask for. "
Coral Condominium - Studio Cabana overlooking the ocean in peaceful Nassau
10/10 Excellent
"A big thank you to John, Duane & Ivonne (and Maxine) for taking care of us for our first trip to the Bahamas. They make you feel at home and were always available to answer our needs and questions very quickly. If you’re looking for something simple with a lot of intimacy, this is the place. You open your entrance door, walk a couple steps forward and your feet are already in ocean water.Although it is isolated, it’s very well located (only a 15min drive from the airport) and everything is close-by. We do recommend renting a car and we also recommend renting it through the property owner (John). The rental car company was super welcoming and friendly. We give the overall experience at Coral Condominum in Coral Harbour a 10/10.For the record, we chose the Cabana #1.Cheers!Angelo & Lo"

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) – Hidden Gem with Amazing Views & Hosts
We had an awesome stay at A Stone's Throw Away—this place is a true hidden gem.
The location is perfect—close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. The views are absolutely incredible, especially overlooking the ocean—great spot to sit, unwind, and just take it all in.
What really made the stay stand out was the staff. Shan, Treasure, Chris, and John were all amazing—super friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. They genuinely made us feel at home and made the trip even better. THANK YOU!
Everything was clean, comfortable, and easy, and we had zero issues during the stay. It was exactly what we were looking for.
The Indian restaurant on site was excellent as well. I had the Curry chicken and rice. My wife had the Penne pasta chicken.
We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nassau."
"The staff was nice when we got there. During our stay we did have to look for staff to help us as one woman seemed to be running the cafe and the hotel. The room was over crowded with beds. There were unpatched holes in the walls in the room and bathroom. There was dirt and hair behind the toilet. There was not the proper remote for the tv and the curtain was falling off the wall. It was a lack of attention to detail. It was not worth the money. "
