"Definitely our fault for not researching where this hotel was located. Photos appealed as it was a leafier looking hotel which is unusual for Jakarta. We had no idea (and it is not evident from the information available on hotels.com) that it was essentially in the middle of an amusement park. The excessive noise was horrendous. Loud music would start from 730am and go most of the day. Do not stay here if you like sleep. The entry system was not explained in the booking. You have to enter Ancol...

"Enjoyable stay at oakwood. The rooms are spacious, pillows comfortable and multiple in room amenities to make the stayconvenient. The hotel is also located near shopping mall (10min walk), grocery, cafes (downstairs). "
