"One of the old grand hotels in Taipei that at one time was the best of the best. Still has that old school charm and well maintained. I really like the old bar with the smoking room and the food options are pretty good. I hear that Marriot recently bought the property so I'm very curious to see what they do with the old girl! Staff is very friendly and always helpful. Very good location to get to the trains and a very nice and walkable area. There is a great park nearby for a good morning workout. The breakfast in the morning is adequate. Nothing to wow you, but good enough to start your morning. Great workspace and overall a great old gem! This was my 4th time staying and I would definitely stay again. I hope Marriot doesn't get rid of the cigar room and destroy the bar! That is a classic Taipei bar that should retain a lot of the uniqueness! Looking forward to see what the future holds! "

Very helpful doorman who got us a taxi with delivery to the early check-in for your luggage at the Taipei Main Station. Very nice breakfast available daily with your stay. This was our third visit to Taipei Fullerton Hotel-South."
