This is our second rental property located downstairs from our first. We've taken great care to make this an airy yet cozy space. Your space is completely private with everything you could want in a fully furnished apartment close to everything yet peaceful and homey. Our space is designed with you in mind - comfortable beds and plush towels and a full kitchen for snacks or meals. We provide snacks in the fridge on arrival - some kind of bread or fruit or granola bars or all of the above.
We provide the things we always wish we had when we go away like paper towels and butter and salt and pepper and a few eggs and a real refrigerator.  The wifi is fast and the tv is big and there's a reading nook for a little resting spot. We enjoy hosting couples and families and have met some really nice people and it shows in our reviews. We are very kid friendly with a swingset and sandpile in the front yard. There are several playgrounds within a 5 minute drive. Please note a 2 night minimum for Friday and Saturday .

Private getaway

Clean and comfortable property! Perfect for visiting the Amherst area. It was easy to get to the Dickinson House and the Eric Carle Museum. Would definitely stay again.

Quiet and close to UMass Amherst

The hosts of this property were very responsive even before my arrival, answering questions quickly. The property is easy to access and walking distance from a lovely breakfast spot/market. We were in town for a family celebration. The space allowed us to spread out and relax. The kitchen had everything we needed and the hosts left snacks in the fridge when we checked in. It’s clean, nicely appointed, and the beds were super comfortable.

Great location

Great, quiet and centralized location to explore Amherst and surroundings. Check in was super easy, apartment was clean and comfy. Didn’t get to meet Lee but she was wonderful communicating with. She also left us some welcoming goodies :) Would stay there again.

Very nice apartment. It appears to be newly renovated. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was nice and well equipped. It was clean and came with bedding and towels. They even had some snacks and some breakfast food in the refrigerator. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely 2 bedroom in Cushman has everything you need

There are steps down to this convenient, functional apartment that functioned as the hub for our 2 day stay. Just a few minutes walk to the nearby Cushman market and cafe for essential sustenance. Lee is a great host and quick to field any questions.

The apartment was well located, spacious, and had everything we needed for our visit to the area. There were even eggs, milk, snacks, and coffee waiting for us. The proximity to the Cushman Market and Cafe across the street was also a real plus. Lee couldn't have been easier to deal with.

Great cozy apartment

Wonderful apt. Very clean with many amenities including breakfast food and snacks which added a nice touch. Was concerned about it being a basement apartment but hardly noticeable when you’re inside. This one is a keeper for sure. Thank you to the Kimballs for allowing us to enter early.

Late-July 2024

Lower level apartment was very well maintained, very well stocked (scissors, sewing kit, batteries, cleaning supplies, fully supplied kitchen (FYI coffee maker was a Kuerig with fillable filters), even homemade fruit bread, butter, eggs, and fruit in the fridge upon arrival!) Met owner and he was super nice, explaining how to easily get to the 21+ miles of hiking trails behind the property. Very close to Mullins center but far enough removed to ensure quiet, peaceful evenings. Will rent again next year if Convention lands in Mullins center again.
