"Very nice hotel. Good location. Rooms big, clean. Staff were very pleasant and professional. Only negative was parking was expensive, and if you didn't valet, the parking is a difficult venture underground with narrow, tight spaces and not necessarily close. "

"This is NOT a Hotel stay. It is guesting in someone's personal home. It is important for prospective patrons to understand this. The couple who own and operate this are as friendly and helpful as one can imagine, but they are not there to be servants so the most important thing is to be respectful of them and their property. They provide an incredible breakfast and offer several choices. (Trust me you won't get this service at any local diner.) Don't change your requested breakfast time on a whim or throw out crazy demands and expect them to just hop to it because you are the paying customer. They are tremendously accommodating, and if it is an emergency they will work with you but don't take advantage like an entitled tool. The rooms are smaller and decorated in mansion motif. You may need to share a bathroom. There are three floors and no elevator. Know this going in so you are not surprised. You will be treated in direct proportion as that which you give out. Example: I was respectful, friendly, and congenial and in return enjoyed a nicer experience than in a hotel and cheaper to boot. (Free parking near downtown? Good luck finding THAT elsewhere. They provide it.) To sum up, staying here is a more personal experience. Act like a jerk and you will be treated with the minimum of professionalism necessary. Act like a mature adult and you will be treated to a better time than you will find in any downtown hotel at twice the cost. "

"My wifi and I just had an amazing experience staying at this place. We visited Milwaukee for a concert at the eagles club and decided to stay at the Manderly, here are everything that worked for us, the place was really close to the venue, parking is really easy, the owners are really friendly and have will share a lot of interesting stories with you, breakfast is tailored to your wanting, THEY HAVE THE FRIENDLIEST CATS, the rooms are clean and the place is just fun to be in. We arrived at 4PM and were promptly given a tour of the place, we were then asked if we have any breakfast breakfast, we were shown where everything is, and then shown all the things we can do in the house. We left to the venue at 4:30, and arrived in less than 2 minutes, we got back at 12 and went straight to bed after a quick shower (the hot water will need a minute, give it some time). We woke up at 7:30 and sat outside for a few while we waited for breakfast. Breakfast was ready for us at 8, and it was such an fun experience just sitting in their dining area. The owner sat with us and told us all about the place, and what he does for the community. We then left at 9 and have been missing the place since. If you are visiting Milwaukee this is the place to stay in, especially is you are vising the eagles club."
