"I miss the beautiful llamas already. The animals were so cute and gentle. They were a plus to see. This place was magical. We arrived and the rain poured down on us but the owner took care of us and when the rain stopped, we walked around to see their gorgeous animals. Our rooms were super clean and it was very quiet. "We were warmly welcomed by Paolo and his father who were charming and very helpful. The room was huge but rather gloomy and dark with all indirect lighting. The bathroom was large and the shower excellent. Breakfast was a simple affair but with delicious bread and home-made conserves. No cappuchinos available. "Excellent quiet location set away from the city with vineyard views. Outstanding restaurant and character bar - wonderful prices after the bigger cities. Hotel and rooms a little quirky in a good way - only downside is lack of air conditioning when 25C (80F) at night. Easy walk or cycle into town. Secure location to leave cars while exploring city.
