During the 1600's Denmark was very rich, the king at the time Christian IV expanded Copenhagen by adding Christianshavn (Christians Harbour) for the large numbers of navy personnel. Christianshavn was modelled after Amsterdam. This is a vibrant street, with many different coloured houses. If you take the canal cruise you will ride down the centre, which is fun to see it from a different view.
Under the suitabile light conditions and hdr combination it would not be so hard to take this picture along the picturesque Christiania Canal. Those reflections and burnt pastel colors...
Christiania is lovely and kooky and tame. Female blacksmiths, gardens, and any variety of cannabis abound. No wonder everyone is mellow. #copenhagen #denmark #travel #signs #danish
