Staff was very friendly and helpful! Rooms were great, but the shower in our bathroom would leak out on the floor a little. We enjoyed the balcony on our floor #2😊

We stayed 9 nights in this extraordinary hotel in the heart of Lisbon. First, this 35 room hotel has been entirely restored to its original Art Deco form, including cork floors in the room, beautiful marquetry floors in the lobby, elegant furniture and art work in the lobby and bar. Also the sleek, elegant Art Deco door handles (that are beautiful but not so easily grasped). There is a spectacular breakfast every morning, including traditional Portuguese staples like sardines in olive oil...

This is a wonderful, well presented property. Mix or modern with nature. Top class service, staff and amenities. A truly relaxing and pleasant experience!

The property was clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff was first class. Very polite and helpful with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lisbon.

I loved this hotel so much! I did not want to leave. I actually felt very down the day we checked out. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels but never had such impeccable care. It was above and beyond. Every staff member was at our service. The view and location were amazing. It was a very quiet retreat to return to and within walking distance of everything. The hotel is one of the most beautiful places that I ever stayed. Fantastic location, exceptional service throughout Immaculately clean in the middle of old town but still very quiet. I can't wait to return.

Our experience at this Vila was amazing from the moment we walked through the door. We were sat at the front desk and given orange juice while we waited to be checked in. The costumer service is amazing and everyone treated us like royalty. After checking in we were given a tour of the hotel which was beautiful and breathtaking (the photos online do not do this hotel justice). We stayed for 2 days after our cruise. We arrive early. Front desk was welcoming and offered us an available room. We declined and said we’d wait for our reserved room on the upper floor. We toured Lisbon and returned to Lumen in the mid afternoon. Here’s when the service was exceptional. Front desk was friendly; offered us breakfast at 10 euros and a 30% restaurant discount.
