"Excelente hotel. Clean, spacious room. Excelente restaurant dinner food . Excelente breakfast. Good parking lot. Recommended."

"Hotel is beautifully situated. Great view from our room! Staff are very attentive and helpful. Restaurant à la carte meals were excellent and one evening buffet was fairly good as well. Breakfasts were great. One wish is that there would have been a 24 hour lobby coffee bar to get early morning coffee (or a machine in the room). Staff in the breakfast room were very accommodating, but only available after 8am when the restaurant opened."

"Staff was great. Thank you to the gentleman at réception who pointed is to a less hairy way out of Piodao through Vendas da Galizes. We are so grateful. Property is mice and clean but needs a little work here and there. Buffet restaurant is OK."

"Excellent hotel in Covilhã, we visit Covilhã every couple of months for medical reasons, there are two hotels that we use, both with pools, depending upon the price at the time. This time it was Donna Marie. Excellent as always, everything works, is clean, and relaxing. The pool area is incredible, a good sized indoor pool, poolside recliners, jacuzzi and shower. "The restaurant is very good. The breakfast is lovely, offering homemade and local produce. The staff are friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. It doesn’t look like much on the outside but the indoors in perfect."

"The room was very clean, modern with perfect air conditioning. There was a mini fridge where I kept yogurt and fruit. The lobby had snacks,a coffee machine with many choices and frozen meals which could be warmed up in the microwave downstairs. The included breakfast was out of this world. I will be returning and highly recommend this hotel."

"Precioso lugar para hospedarse. La habitación es muy cómoda y agradable. Desayuno muy bueno. Cenar en el hotel, fue un poco lento pero vale la pena la espera la comida fue riquísima. Las personas que trabajan son todas muy agradables. La piscina exterior un oasis en el medio de la ciudad. El spa de lujo, piscina, sauna , masajes. Todo el lugar de maravilla. Daba pena irse."

"Een geweldig, mooi hotel met vriendelijk personeel. Ook het ontbijt was goed verzorgd. We hebben genoten"

"Just left from an amazing stay as Casa Penhas. An absolute treasure away from the city with majestic views of the mountains. We went on a guided hike, used their heated indoor pool and had a couple massage - all extremely well done and with the utmost customer service. Food was also delicious and plenty. They served an abundant buffet breakfast, snacks after our hike, and a top-notch dinner. If you’re looking for rest and relaxation with amazing views, this hotel is for you."
