Portuguese bike tour

Very unique property if your looking for that certain quality. Beautiful surroundings and even more amazing biking roads. Restaurant very good and does the best Portuguese tarts all.

The actual hotel is stunning. Built like a castle, warm, comfortable and beautiful. However, there is literally nothing to do around it except several fairly difficult hikes. No wifi, small little pool. It would be a romantic place to unplug and unwind, but for kids or as a base to explore, no.

No kettle or coffee maker in the room is a deal killer for me. "Missed it by that much" Get Smart. Two very uncomfortable wicker chairs in the room. We were told breakfast was 8 AM but turns out it was 8:30 AM. Perhaps lost in translation. Breakfast was all laid out at 8 but we were not allowed to have it. Bed was OK. It would have been nice to have coffee in the lobby in the morning so that you can sit in the large number of comfortable places and enjoy a quiet morning. Especially with the room with the roaring fire. We wanted to know if we could order wine and sit in one of the lovely rooms but it must have gotten lost in translation. Not sure why many of these places don't have a FAQ in various languages explaining all this. We were there on Valentines day so there was a preset menu. It was good.

Nice getaway

We come here often, it's one of our favorite getaway hotels. It has a great pool and garden, it benefits from a fantastic view and is close to nice natural river pools and walking trails. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good, Lunch and dinner are served on a beautiful outdoor terrace, but regrettably the food could be better, especially for the price, and there are no good restaurant options close by.

Tomamos por la noche unas copas yo pedi un JB 15 AÑOS, solo, y como le quedaba poco el camarero le hecho agua y no poca, era agua con sabor a whisky ,eso no se hace , es un delito estropear un whisky así vamos tome un vaso de agua de 9€ ..cómo puedes pensar que semejante chapuza iba a pasar desapercibida? Las copas se sirven delante del cliente no saques el vaso de debajo la barra como si fuera un truco de magia. No sé si es una practica habitul para el ahorro o que los clientes nos damos cuenta cobra lo que necesites cobrar pero no a heches agua no engañes y encima el día anterior le dejé propina Al día siguiente estuvimos vigilantes tenía un vaso de agua allí cerca , vamos que los que pidan copas con hielo....

Estadia maravilhosa na Quinta da Geia. O hotel é lindo, as áreas comuns são cheias de detalhes, muito aconchegantes, os quartos são ótimos. A vista para a montanha é linda. Passei dez dias viajando por várias cidades em Portugal e a Quinta da Geia foi a melhor hospedagem no país.

Estadia agradável, quartos confortáveis, televisão muito pequena. Pequeno almoço razoável. Áreas comuns com uma decoração requintada. Pecou pela noite de réveillon.
