"The rooms are functional and staff really helpful, disappointed about the mould in the bathroom, on the silicon and tiles was off putting. The mini fridge didn’t seem to get cold either so while these are minor really, it’s fair to mention them. I would definitely stay again and it’s in a great spot to discover the city."

"My wife spotted this hotel - it was a the same price as a couple I had seen, but the reviews were better and it didn't disappoint. Super breakfast, helpful staff, air-conditioned, well maintained and a great location just a 15 minute walk fro the station / cathedral. We saw the hotels I had identified on-line which were on top of busy roads, and we were so pleased we stayed here."

"This place is really something. When visiting Cologne you need to sleep here. In a quiet neighborhood, but within walking distance of the city center. Big, airy modern room with everything present. Just one side note, TV can not be connected with Netflix or other streaming services. But this is a side note…"

"No parking. We had to park blocks away in a paid parkade that was expensive. Came for the pool but didn’t get a chance to enjoy due to our lateness, as well you have to pay extra for access to it which was not worth the 1-2 hours of potential enjoyment that we could’ve had. We also did not feel that safe in this area of the city where the hotel was. A lot of graffiti everywhere. What appeared to be the ?homeless consuming drugs during our walk from the parkade. I would not come to this hotel again."

"The hotel was decent and most of the staff were very helpful except one day we ran out of towels and after requesting them twice and still not receiving them I went down to the lobby where a young member of staff was a bit belligerent about having towels. Apart from that , the hotel was decent. Room is small for what you pay ."

"I was a little worried as it was one of the least expensive hotels I could find in Cologne but I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel is only about an 8 min. walk from the main train station and about a 2-3 minute walk from the Heumarkt where you have many amazing options for meals. We had a courtyard view from our room which was pleasantly quiet so I can't give my opinion on how loud or quiet a street facing room would be. The hotel was very clean and seemed well maintained. The staff were very friendly. If you are a smoker there is a small patio in the courtyard where you can sit. Our room was quite nice especially the bathroom. If I were going to complain about anything it would be that there is no coffee maker in the room and the mini fridge is full of beverages you can buy so if you want to put your own food or drinks in the fridge there really isn't room. I can't give an opinion on breakfast as we went out to eat instead. Overall it was a surprisingly great stay (considering the price per night) and I will gladly stay here again if/when I come back to Cologne!"
