"Room was clean and had all amenities one would need Staff couldn’t do enough Breakfast plenty of choice hot and cold Gluten free and a pancake machine for the kids . Only 2 things parking charges though very clear on site should be made clear when booking on the Hotel site Also I wasn’t made aware of the fact that over the 2 days of my stay my room wasn’t serviced unless you asked"

"Had a really nice night’s stay with a 3 course meal each at the hotel’s restaurant and we got an upgrade to a balcony room for £15. Friendly staff and lovely luxury hotel with luxury amenities in the room too. Only improvement could be better air conditioning as the room was still quite hot even with fan unit and ceiling fan"

"Beautiful facilities - definitely book the spa and a treatment. The restaurant had a really intimate feel to it and the tables were nicely arranged. Great quality food and the breakfast was sublime (particularly the haddock). We will definitely return. Thank you Bedford Lodge for a fantastic birthday stay."

"The place was amazing. Two very nice, peaceful gardens, even though one was by a busy road. Part of the house dated back from, I think, pre 1066. Not 100% sure on that. But it was very old. The owner was very helpful with just about everything! Loads to look at in the place. Very higgledy piggeldy!. I loved it and would definitely stay again. 5 stars from me."
